Dear South Leicester Resident, You are receiving the following email as a resident living on the Freemen Police Beat.
It is currently Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) awareness week which is dedicated to tackling those individuals that choose to cause harassment, alarm and distress to others and the local community. As part of the week of action the local team will be out conducting visible patrols in locations where ASB has been reported or is a known hot spot area for issues.
A joint agency patch walk was completed on Wednesday morning (20/11/24) at the St Mary’s Open Space alongside the Leicester City Councils ASB team and the local parks officer. We have discussed ways to keep the area clean and tidy and ensure that it remains a safe space for residents and the local community. Issues such as access for emergency vehicles were raised as well as how the parks officer is working alongside the local council to ensure that no debris is left in the wooded area and that path and walkways are kept clear and visible.
Tackling ASB in open space areas across the beat remains a priority for the local team and it is important that we work closely with partner agencies to tackle and address/reduce issues.
Kind regards. | ||||
