🚓 Lutterworth & Broughton Astley Beat Team Update 🚓

Your local officers have been out this week tackling our current beat priorities — with a particular focus on road safety and vehicle crime. 👮‍♂️

We’ve been carrying out high-visibility patrols across key routes and residential areas, targeting speeding vehicles and unsafe driving to help keep our roads safe for everyone. The driver of this Seat thought it would be a wise idea to not register his vehicle whilst clocking up five speeding offences. Unfortunately, this caught up with him today. The vehicle has been seized due to the lack of insurance, MOT and tax. The driver has been reported for all the offences and has some sore feet after a long walk home. 

We’re also continuing our work to prevent vehicle crime, patrolling known hotspots and engaging with residents to offer crime prevention advice. Please remember to remove valuables, lock your vehicle, and report any suspicious activity via 101 or online. Eagle eyed members of Broughton Astley helped us locate a stolen vehicle last night. This has been sent for forensics whilst the investigation continues.
