Hello local residents,

The local beat team for the Western Ward in particular Park Rise and Park view residents have seen an increase in garages being attacked overnight and car doors being 'tried'. 

Some CCTV  footage was captured with the activity being recorded at 01:10 on 14/6.

Several garages that are not attached to houses were attacked. The doors were easily opened  despite being locked.

Please be vigilant and assess your security to see if this can be increased and remember to lock yours cars and do not leave valuables inside  / on show.
