Tomorrow is the Leicester Caribbean Carnival and those from East Leicester might be attending the event and if you are we would just like to help you to #StaySafe.

Here are just a few points to help you:

When leaving your property make sure that all of your windows and doors are closed and locked and all keys are taken out of locks and hidden.

At the event ensure that all bags you have are kept with you at all times and out of reach from people wanting to open them and take items. 

If you wear jewellery please ensure that it is hidden and can’t be seen to be taken. 

If you have a purse/wallet/phone please keep it out of view and out of easy reach.

Please be aware of those around you and your surroundings.
