Last week on the NC04 beat we;

🚌 Conducted regular patrols of St Margarets and Haymarket bus stations alongside their security operatives in line with our current priority of tackling ASB at transport hubs.

🍺 Sgt Zane launched ‘Operation Oversee’ – a policing operation focused on checks in licences premises with the goal of enhancing the safety in the night time economy and countering violence towards women and girls (VAWG).

👮 PCSOs Jane and Donna attended a ‘meet the police’ event at the Guildhall, engaging positively with hundreds of families and young children.

🚲 PC Tom attended the active travel conference held on the DMU campus and later assisted with their cycle parade through the city alongside PCSO Jane.

👮👮 PC’s Tom and Jeff from the licencing team conducted a joint operation with the Home Office on Thursday conducting visits at licensed premises. The Home Office have issued a fine to a business operating outside of their parameters. 

🚓 The beat team assisted in multi-agency police response on Saturday with colleagues from the Fire service and East Midlands Ambulance supporting a person in crisis.
