Valley Beat team officers have been out conducting speed checks this morning at two locations across the NN43 beat👮 🚓

Whilst on Nottingham Road, Griffydam 67 vehicles were checked, 3 were found to be exceeding the speed limit by more than 5mph.

On St Georges Hill, Swannington 96 vehicles were checked, again 3 were found to be exceeding the limit. The highest recorded speed was 45mph in a 30mph zone.

Just remember if someone is hit by a car at 40 mph, they are 90% likely to be killed. If someone is hit by a car at 30mph, they are 50% likely to be killed❗❗
