We are receiving an increasing number of reports of people trying car doors during the hours of darkness. Please remember some simple crime prevention advice…

* Make sure your vehicle is locked and secure. Most of the time ( though not all ) vehicles that are locked are left in favour of those that are unlocked

* Park your vehicle on your drive if you can , or under a street light and if possible covered by cctv.

* Avoid parking in dark or secluded places

* Don`t leave valuables in your car or on display
