Hello Uppingham,
I have been out today for a partner agency patch walk with the Community Safety Team at Rutland County Council around Uppingham.
We have been into some licensed premises to better understand what issues they are facing and what we can do to help.
We have also been into Uppingham Community College to speak with some students and their Designated Safeguarding Leads.
Then we have made some visits to some vulnerable members of the community.
Finally, to top off the day I have attended an online national training seminar with the College of Policing. This was to discuss what we can learn from other forces around the country on what they have found works when tackling ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour).
This is the sort of work we complete week in week out all year round, however this week is Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week, so we are just putting the spotlight on it.
