Your Dedicated Neighbourhood Officer PC Spruce made not 1, but 2 arrests yesterday. 

First up was an emergency response to a domestic related incident whereby a male was arrested for criminal damage.

Secondly was a Road Traffic Collision whereby the driver was intoxicated through alcohol.

Please let this be a warning to anyone thinking that they can get away with drink driving over the festive period. The pictures on this post are some of what you can expect to see if you do.

You are risking your safety and those of others. You are risking your driving license. You are risking your job. You’re risking your car insurance. It’s a lot to risk for the sake of a drink. It’s not worth it. 

We’re out tonight, as we are every night – carrying roadside breath test devices, so please – if you’re going out for a festive drink, walk if it’s close enough, use a designated driver, book a taxi, or just don’t drink if you must drive.
