Good Afternoon Rutland North,
It was a jam-packed day yesterday on my late shift!
I started with contacting and visiting victims of crime, giving updates on investigations and providing reassurance and support.
I progressed enquiries on some of my ongoing case load.
I was then out and about conducting miles and miles of high visibility patrols after dark in our rural villages, I didn’t take a photo in every village I visited, but please see some photos below.
Toward the end of my shift - I then responded to Melton Mowbray to support colleagues in an arrest of a male wanted for burglary offences. One male successfully in custody and a trip to the cells, great result!
This then tied me up long past my cease of duty time in assisting with enquiries, seizing and booking in evidence.
Have a very happy new year!
