Just a snapshot of some of the work the city centre beat team has been performing this set of duties;

❗ PC Katie and PCSO Jane have patrolled the Town Hall square. They received intelligence about drug dealing in the area. A person was located and stop searched and was found to be in possession of a class B drug. They have dealt with appropriately and drugs seized to be destroyed.  

🚗 Following a tip off from a member of public Neighbourhood Patrol Officers (NPOs) and Dedicated Neighbourhood Officers (DNOs) tipped out following reports of vehicles being broken in to on Dover Street. Officers searched the area and a male suspect was arrested.

⚽ PC Ellis completed two football duties this set and welcomed visitors to the King Power Stadium.

🛴🚲  PC Tom has been working on the planning for Operation Pedalfast in 2025.

😊 PCSOs Tim and Hannah have conducted a beat engagement event within the Highcross shopping centre this morning.

👚 PC Elliott arrested a shoplifter seconds after they stole clothing from a store. The suspect was taken to custody and processed and clothing items recovered.
