Hello residents,

We are asking for any information, RING doorbell/CCTV footage regarding an attempted vehicle theft in your area, especially around the locations of Nelson Drive, Drake Way, Hardy Close.

The attempted theft happened on the 19th January 2025 between the hours of 01.15 am and 01.50 am. 2 people wearing balaclava's and driving what appears to have been a dark coloured estate were caught on the victims CCTV. We appreciate that the initial description is vague, however the persons involved maybe linked to other vehicle thefts in and around Hinckley.

If you spotted a vehicle similar to the above at the material day and time or if it has been in the area previously being driven in a suspicious  manner please report any information via 101 or our social media channels quoting the crime number 25*34756
