Melton Rural South

It’s been my first day shift after rest days and it’s been a busy one. After attending the 8am brief, I read and replied to the seemingly never-ending list of emails waiting for my return. It was then straight out to a concern for welfare incident which happily, the person proved to be safe and well, and I completed all the relevant safeguarding paperwork.

After a quick sandwich, I was joined by PCSO Dandy and we attended a neighbour dispute which was quickly and amicably resolved.

Only an hour left before the end of the shift, so I’ll be out and about across the beat in the police car.

Tomorrow I’ll be at Force HQ all day on my first aid refresher course, but I’ll be back on the rural south beat on a late shift on Saturday.
