After numerous reports of motorbikes driving in and around Melton with loud exhausts the culprits were identified and after visits to the owners they were issued with Section 69 warnings.  Essentially it is a warning issued against the offending vehicle, car or bike, and should the vehicle be involved in further reports of ASB it can then be seized and lead to the vehicle being destroyed.  The reports from local residents and some subsequently obtaining vehicle registrations played a large part in identifying the offenders so a good result from the team work between Police and Joe Public.
