Melton Town Centre  Police has recently  been complimented by the assistance of Security guards providing high visibility patrols within the town centre.  These are proving to be an effective visual deterrent and extra set of eyes on the street.

They are in direct contact with the police using the retail radio system and this has proved invaluable in getting officers and help to areas within the retail areas of the town.
