With all the variety of scams and the national publicity an event is being held in conjunction with The Nottingham Building Society and Experian fraud teams on 10:30 AM Tuesday 1st April at The Community Hub, 101 Bondgate, Castle Donington, DE74 2NR

There will be a presentation about the variety of Scams & Cyber Crime. This is a joint event with Experian, The Nottingham Building Society and the Police Local Beat Team. 

You will receive the latest crime prevention advice and Guidance.  Over £1 billion was stolen through fraud in 2023. Fraud is largely underreported, with only about 13% of cases being reported to Action Fraud or the police 72% of scams originate online Romance scam victims lost £94.7 million loss in 2023 - average loss per person was £10,774.
