Investigations into reported Antisocial Behaviour in Ratby where large groups of youths were causing concern to both residents and businesses alike have proved fruitful with identifying some of those involved. We increased patrols in these specified locations across varying times to engage with and disband the large groups of youths. These individuals were stopped and their details obtained, one such individual was conveyed home to discourage any further issues. Working collaboratively with Hinckley Bosworth Borough Council, we will be issuing appropriate disposals in due course. Two men have been arrested following a burglary in Market Bosworth where amongst other items a vehicle was taken. Upon being disturbed by neighbours they abandoned some of their loot and made off in the stolen vehicle. Unfortunately for them contained within the vehicle was an electrical item which could be tracked. Fellow Warwickshire Officers greeted the pair and after a short chase through a field were promptly arrested. Our counterparts in Warwickshire are taking on the case as the dastardly duo appear to have some questions to answer about some other offences in their area. The investigation is very much still at the early stage and evidence gathering continues.
Finally, thank you to the Markfield Community Church for welcoming us to their Coffee Morning, we were delighted to be able to speak to a number of local residents and enjoyed a lovely cup of tea and some biscuits. |
