Throughout yesterday #BardonBeatTeam officers PCSO 6667 and PC 1550 attended a number of beat engagements within the Coalville area.
This started with a coffee morning at the newly opened children’s home, Daffodil house. Surrounding neighbours to the property were invited to attend, with any concerns or questions answered by staff.
Second on our list was a Beat Engagement at Whitwick and Coalville Leisure Centre, where children attending the leisure centre through half term activities and holiday clubs were given a tour of one of our police vans, some finding the cage way too comfortable. PC 1550 was set up in the café area of the leisure centre, giving out crime prevention advice and dealing with concerns raised by members of the public.
Thirdly #BardonBeatTeam officers PCSO 6667 / PC 1550 were joined by our response colleague PC 864 at the McDonald’s Community Safety Day. This event was also attended by our neighbours Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service from Coalville station. This was well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by all!!
In between events officers PCSO 6667 and PC 1550 also attended an incident on Belvoir Road, Coalville and a number of crime enquires on the Bardon Beat.
