It has come to our attention that there is a post on a spotted page asking where someone can ride off-road motorcycles / quad bikes in the Coalville area.

In the comments section of this post, some users think they are allowed to use the land at the base of Bardon Hill / Bardon Hill woods & also The Old Mineral Line in Hugglescote.

No permission has been given to any off roaders to use either of these locations and any persons found doing so will risk losing their vehicles.

There are plenty of appropriate and purpose-built locations in and around the Midlands and we ask that if you wish to take part in this sport, then take the time to do your research properly rather than relying on hearsay on a spotted page.

We always want to help and support people in taking part in sports but there is a time / place and It would be a shame to lose your kit through misinformation.
