The Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicestershire is launching Round 1 of the Community Action Fund (CAF), focused on tackling rural crimeβ€”a persistent issue affecting the safety and livelihoods of our countryside communities.

 

This funding round is designed to empower local groups to take proactive steps in preventing rural crime and supporting those affected. Eligible organisations can apply for grants of up to Β£10,000 to support initiatives such as:

 

Rural crime prevention workshops

Educational materials for schools

Security lighting, fencing, and lockable storage

GPS vehicle tracking systems
