You continue to tell us that road safety remains a priority for the Rutland North and we will continue to work alongside the Road Safety Partnership and Roads Policing Unit to identify locations for road safety and speed enforcement.
The van also attends other locations within Rutland on other beats, such as Rutland South, as well as Oakham and Uppingham. If you are interested in viewing all of the information available, please find the link here to view www.speedorsafety.com
There is also Rutland Community Speed Watch programme that continues to grow village by village and 2025 sees 5 villages on the Rutland North granted the scheme! We continue to work with Rutland County Council to train volunteers. You can learn more about the scheme by contacting Rutland County Council.
We will continue to proactively patrol, utilise the speed laser (speed gun), deal robustly with offenders and work with partner agencies to clamp down on many aspects that cause a danger on our roads, thank you for reading.
Kind regards,
PC 1049 Jake Spruce Rutland North Dedicated Neighbourhood Officer | ||
