Message of Thanks

Good Evening,

I would like to extend my gratitude to all members of the community who have worked diligently to report locations of the Cannabis QR code stickers throughout the Clarendon Park area and subsequently destroying them. PCSO Diane Stewart and I also swept the area along Queens Road and its surrounding streets.

As a rough estimate, 100+ stickers have been removed from the area bringing disruption to drug operations in the area. The QR code has been sent to our Intelligence team for further work. CCTV requests and investigation has been carried out to identify those responsible, which we area still awaiting replies.

Whether we catch up with those responsible or not, these codes have been removed before the intake of students for 2025/26. We sincerely want to thank everyone for their efforts. We will be requesting Leicester City Council task their street cleansing team to restore street furniture in the near future.
