Beat Priorities |
||
Dear Residents of Melton Rural North,
I hope this message finds you well.
Following our latest quarterly review, we’d like to share the updated beat priorities for the Melton Rural North area. These priorities are shaped by your feedback and reflect the issues that matter most to our community.
Priority 1 – Burglaries and Rural Crime You’ve highlighted concerns such as hare coursing, farm thefts, agricultural vehicle crime, and heritage crime. These remain key areas of focus for us. This priority will remain in place from October 2025 until the next review in January 2026.
Priority 2 – Road Safety This priority will also remain in place until January 2026.
Priority 3 – Antisocial Behaviour The new focus is antisocial behaviour. Based on recent incident reviews, ongoing investigations, and your feedback, we’ve seen an increase in ASB in certain areas. This trend often coincides with seasonal changes, darker evenings, and events such as Halloween and Bonfire Night.
We’ll continue to monitor this closely and may adjust the priority again during the next review.
Thank you for taking the time to read this update. Your input is vital in helping us shape our policing priorities.
