Arrested - Queens Road

Good Afternoon,

If you've been in the Area of Queens Road of late, you may be aware of the spree of shop thefts that take place almost daily at Sainsburys.

We’re pleased to share that two individuals responsible for a series of shop thefts along Queens Road have now been arrested.

Both offenders have been linked to a number of incidents affecting local businesses. One of the individuals was also wanted on outstanding warrants and subject to recall, and has now been dealt with accordingly.

This is a positive outcome for the local business community, and we hope it provides some reassurance following what has been a persistent issue.

We’d like to extend our thanks to PCs Richard Wagg and Karim Baladi for their work in progressing this matter and securing these arrests.
