Thank you to everyone who attended All Saints church in Somerby this morning to discuss local issues. In the forefront of residents' minds was, of course, the recent spate of farm thefts in the area, and the attempted burglary at the village shop.  I was pleased to hear that residents had been reassured by the increased foot and marked car patrols in the village and surrounding area by the beat team supported by the Rural Crime Team. These patrols will continue as part of the Rural South's Patrol Plan.

I shall be arranging another meeting in the church in the coming weeks which will take place at a weekend giving those who are unable to attend during the week an opportunity to come along.
