A Wet Morning out on Welby Lane
Despite the wet weather this morning, I was out on Welby Lane carrying out speed monitoring alongside PCSO French and with support from the team at The Defence Animal Training Regiment.
The DATR have raised concerns regarding the safety of their personnel around the base, and today's activity forms part of a wider piece of work aimed at better understanding traffic issues in the area and improving safety for everyone who works, lives and travels through the beat.
This is just the beginning of a larger undertaking that will be taking place across the beat over the coming weeks and months. We will continue to work closely with our partners, monitor concerns raised by the community, and take positive action where needed.
