🚔✨ Weekly Round-Up with PCSO 6549 Chelsey | NL64 Beat ✨🚔
Hi everyone! 👋 It's been another busy week out and about across Shepshed, Hathern, Thorpe Acre and Dishley, supporting our three local priorities: 🛍️ Retail Theft
🚴 ASB Bikes & Park Patrols I've been carrying out patrols around local parks and hotspots for nuisance bikes. While at the skate park on Oakley Road, I had the pleasure of meeting some brilliant young people enjoying the facilities. They were keen to learn more about policing, so I gave them a look around the police car and showed them some of the equipment we carry. The blue lights stole the show! 🚓✨
📮 Tackling Drug Dealing I've also been delivering drug awareness leaflets and carrying out regular patrols in areas where concerns have been raised. Thank you to everyone who continues to report information to us. Every piece of information helps us build the bigger picture and take positive action.
🛒 Supporting Local Businesses To help tackle retail theft, I've been visiting local shops, speaking with staff, and carrying out high-visibility patrols around retail areas. These visits are a great opportunity to listen to concerns and provide reassurance to businesses.
☕ Beat Surgeries with Graham A big thank you to Graham, our fantastic Police Volunteer, who has been joining me at our beat surgeries. These are a great opportunity for residents to come along, raise concerns, ask questions, or simply have a chat about what's happening in their area. We love meeting members of the community and hearing your ideas on how we can make our neighbourhoods even better. 👮♂️🤝
💙 One of the best parts of the job is meeting members of our community while out on patrol. Whether it's reporting concerns, saying hello, or wanting to sit in the police car, every conversation helps us work together to keep our communities safe.
If you spot me out and about, don't be shy, come and say hello! 👋 #NL64 #NeighbourhoodPolicing #Shepshed #Hathern #ThorpeAcre #Dishley #RetailTheft #ASBBikes #DrugAwareness #CommunityMatters 🚔💙✨ "Visible, approachable and working with our community every day." 💙🚓 | ||
