Successful Burglary Drop-In Session

Successful Burglary Drop-In Session

Good evening

I would like to say a big thank you to everybody who attended this evening's drop-in session at the Fairfield pub.

It's always great to hear from the community directly and to be able to share the ongoing work we are doing in your area - information sharing is pivotal to making progress on local issues and these sessions help dispel myth or rumour and provide us with a broader picture of the issues affecting you.

If you missed this session, keep an eye on this page (and Neighbourhood Link if you are signed up) as we will try to put on another session before the end of the year.
You can also attend the South Wigston Residents' Forum on Wednesday 28th October, 7pm, at the Fairfield Primary School

We will continue our ongoing efforts to reduce burglary in South Wigston through 2026, with our 10-point plan we have already seen an incredible decrease, but our work is not done yet and we will continue through to the end of the year where we look forward to being able to share a positive result with you.

If you know of anyone elderly, vulnerable or alone who needs support or help with securing their home please do let me know.

Keep sharing information and concerns on local social media pages and forums - avoid speculation, but keep friends and neighbours informed.

Call 999 if you have any concerns about suspicious persons on or near your property.
