🎃👻 Halloween Safety Message from Your Local Neighbourhood Officers 👻🎃

Happy Halloween from your local neighbourhood policing team! We hope everyone has a fun, safe, and enjoyable evening with family and friends.

As you're out celebrating, please remember a few simple safety tips:

🎃 Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult where possible and stick to well-lit, familiar routes.

🚗 If you're driving, please take extra care and be aware of children who may be crossing roads unexpectedly.

👻 Respect your neighbours. Not everyone wishes to take part in Halloween, so please look out for any posters or signs displayed by residents indicating whether they welcome trick-or-treaters or would prefer not to be disturbed.

🥚 Please do not buy, sell, or misuse eggs, flour, or other items to target people, homes, vehicles, or property. What may seem like a prank can cause damage, distress, and could result in police action.

🔦 Wear bright or reflective clothing to help you stay visible, especially after dark.

📞 Report any anti-social behaviour or criminal activity to us via 101, or call 999 in an emergency.

Our officers will be out on patrol throughout the evening to provide reassurance and help keep our communities safe.

Have a fantastic Halloween, look out for one another, and enjoy the celebrations responsibly! 🎃🦇👮‍♂️
