Dear Resident
Welcome to this month's neighbourhood priorities update for Melton Rural North. I am very lucky to be back on the mainland after I narrowly avoided being stranded on the Isle of Wight after a fortnights leave. Its been a very busy catch up period this last couple of days and bringing the newsletter to you.
The attached newsletter provides an overview of recent incidents reported across the beat, updates on the priorities identified by local residents, details of the work your neighbourhood policing team has been carrying out, and information about upcoming Local Officer Drop-In Sessions where you can speak directly with your local officers.
As we move into the autumn and winter months, many families will be looking forward to celebrating Halloween. We would like to remind everyone to be considerate of their neighbours when taking part in trick-or-treating activities. A simple rule is to only approach homes that are clearly decorated for Halloween or otherwise displaying signs that they are participating. If a property is not decorated or residents indicate they do not wish to take part, please respect their wishes and move on. Encouraging children to be respectful and considerate helps ensure that everyone can enjoy the season safely and comfortably.
We would also encourage residents to remain vigilant as the darker evenings return. Please report any suspicious activity, particularly in relation to rural crime, vehicle crime, burglary or antisocial behaviour. Information from the community plays a vital role in helping us identify offenders, target patrols and keep our neighbourhoods safe.
Thank you to everyone who continues to engage with the neighbourhood team, attends our drop-in sessions, and reports concerns affecting the local area. Your feedback directly influences our policing priorities and helps us focus our efforts where they are needed most. We hope you find the attached newsletter informative and useful
Kind Regards, PCSO Claire Gray 6541 | ||
